He taught me to love again, and he needn’t say a word to make me
Full of life
Full of love
Old enough to know what’s right
Old enough to love right
He loves right
He’s lived a life of plenty rights, his grandchildren will say
But to listen to his wife
What she had to say
That made me love again.

My weekend was so full of interesting stories to share. I can’t wait to share them with you, but in a few hours, since my PC is dead and phone battery running low… ok, 15% now.

I wish to have a surprise a day
Cause a smile that’ll dry the tears away
I wish you’ll show me your pain
Cos I wanna take them away
I wish my wish be granted by you
I wish your wishes be my wishes.

Lord Jesus, please save Kenya, I pray
This is disheartening, what is happening
If you could stop time, do
If you could deliver them all, do
Because Africa is in so much pain

Her children are being slaughtered in her sight
As she watches them breathe their last breath in unanswered questions in their eyes
‘Why?’
‘What did I do?’

Open up this bloody ground and let then drown in it
Let them fall into their own pits when they dig it
Let them drink their own blood for our ground doesn’t need any more
Don’t let them go free
Every one of them and their household

My heart is saddened
This is disheartening
But God, you see it all
If this is your second coming
Come and save us all

Whether Jesus was black
Whether Jesus was white
He died for you in public
That’s all you need to know
That’s how much he loves you

I told you once
I told you that I liked you
But you looked at me and smiled
There I understood I was in it, alone

image

But I couldn’t stop liking
I didn’t expect you to like me back
I wanted it
But you wanted less

image

Then I told you again
Over a year of giving you less
I told you I still liked you
Didn’t rehearse for what you’d say next

image

No, nothing has changed
I’m used to loving alone
But you said same
You said you liked me too

image

I love that we’re not awkward
We wouldn’t have been here
I wouldn’t have experienced your awesome
I wouldn’t have liked you more

image

It’s the little things you do that get me smiling in your absence
The way you laugh raising your eyebrows in excitement
The way you get my sarcasm and deal with my kind of silly
I like you like that

image

I’m still here
My sentiments remain the same
You heard me then
Now you see me
